Our story

The Madeloc Hotel is first and foremost a family home which, since 1963, has passed through generations while preserving the soul and authenticity of the place. Over the years, different Collioure families have contributed to its history, each adding their own touch while respecting the unique identity of the establishment. Built into the rock face in a pristine Mediterranean environment, the Madeloc has been part of the Collioure landscape for over six decades. 1963: Madame Pouchairet-Ramona envisions and commissions the construction of the hotel. 1965: The first guests are welcomed to the Madeloc. 1991: The third generation continues the development of the establishment. 2009: A new family takes over and continues the adventure. 2014: Creation of the Junior Suites, apartments, parking, and wellness area. 2025: Awarded its 4th star and integrated into the independent, family-owned Roussill'Hôtel group, while preserving The soul, identity, and DNA of Madeloc.
